THE PATHWAY TO THE...

AT PRO5, WE EMPHASIZE
5 KEY AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT:

THE FOUNDATION

1. CHARACTER & LEADERSHIP

Leadership conversations are integrated into everything we do. Athletes participate in weekly Leadership Development sessions built around our Championship Principles, forming habits of discipline, accountability, and integrity.

Each month, players engage in service initiatives — including partnerships with organizations such as the Miracle League, NC Food Bank, and disaster relief efforts — reinforcing humility and responsibility beyond the field.

BUILT TO PERFORM

2. STRENGTH & SPEED

PRO5 partners with DiamondFit Performance to implement a systematic, data-driven strength and speed program. Athletes are evaluated using key performance indicators that allow for objective measurement and growth.

Our training cycles are intentionally structured to safely peak athletes during critical phases of their season — ensuring they are prepared when it matters most.

Strength is developed with purpose. Speed is trained with precision.

THE COMPETITIVE EDGE

3. PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL INSTRUCTION

PRO5 training mirrors the structure of collegiate and professional programs.

Practice plans include:

  • Early work and position-specific throwing programs

  • Individual skill development

  • Daily team fundamentals

  • Structured batting practice

Our coaching staff includes former MLB Academy leadership, Division I standouts, professional players, and performance specialists. In addition, we regularly bring in current and former MLB players, scouts, and coaches to mentor and instruct our athletes.

BEYOND THE GAME

4. ACADEMIC SUPPORT

While many of our athletes aspire to play professionally, we believe a strong academic foundation is essential.

Our academic advisors provide structure and accountability to ensure student-athletes meet NCAA requirements and succeed in the classroom.

Athletes train in the morning and complete schoolwork in the afternoon, creating a balanced routine. Evenings are free for family time—a refreshing change from years of busy schedules.

 5. COMPETITION

PREPARATION

We believe that the better our competition is today, the more prepared our players will be to succeed in college and/or professional baseball.

Our athletes compete against junior colleges, Division II programs, and top academy teams, frequently traveling out of state to face elite competition across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama. They play in college and minor league stadiums while participating in high-level tournaments that provide exposure to top talent from across the Southeast.
